Mr Fox
Ōtepoti Dunedin
“In the middle of the city there is an Octagon. In the Octagon is an unassuming door. Behind the door is a staircase. At the bottom of the staircase is a bar. The bar is called Mr Fox, a watering hole for discerning creatures of the night.” Mr Fox
Mr Fox is a den of opposites: other-worldly yet domestic, minimal yet allowing the unruly and organic to emerge, relaxed yet meticulous in its level of service. Intended as a space to escape, to loose oneself, to meet a lover or friends, to indulge and be swept away by the best food and drink, to listen to great tunes. The space is warm, moody and encouraging of cheeky mis-behaviour of the grown-up kind.
We worked alongside strategic partners and Dunedin-based branding agency BrandAid who carried the concept of Mr Fox beyond the confines of its architecture, reaching into print material, signage, and social media, to name a few.
